Phase 2 of La Frontera street reconstruction is complete

A $4 million project to reconstruct the public streets that feed the La Frontera shopping center is complete, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

The clay soils in that part of town are responsible for the (mostly) formerly uneven, pot-hole prone roadways. The first phase of the La Frontera work — reconstruction of Hester’s Crossing and La Frontera Boulevard — was completed a few years ago.

In short, a part of town that used to tax your suspension is now a much more pleasant to place to drive — and shop!
