Parks maintenance program in full swing

The City is moving along with its Parks Repair and Replacement Program, as a dozen parks and facilities have been revitalized, including major improvements to Lake Creek Park and Veterans Park.

Thanks to folks who Shop the Rock, the City Council is able to allocate $750,000 a year to keep Round Rock Parks well maintained and up to date.

Additionally, the City is currently making improvements to the Old Settlers Park parking lots with trail and handicapped accessibility improvements to follow.

Next in line for revitalization include Round Rock West Park, Stella Park, Memorial Park and Stark Park.

Other parks and facilities scheduled for maintenance and upgrades includes: Clay Madsen Recreation Center, Kensington Park, Mesa Village Park, Somerset Park, Rock Hollow Park, Bowman Park, Meadow Lake Park, Settlement Park and Chisholm Valley Park.
