Round Rock Premium Outlets to add lululemon, Sephora

Amidst its 20th anniversary, Round Rock Premium Outlets looks to welcome major retailer brands lululemon and Sephora by this summer while undergoing a facility refresh.

Previously carrying more than 135 name-brand outlet stores on its sprawling northside site, Round Rock Premium Outlets recently welcomed premium athletic apparel brand lululemon to town. Beauty retailer Sephora nips at its heels with an anticipated summer opening.

Lululemon will host its grand opening on April 11.

Also, plans to commemorate the outlet center’s 20th anniversary are underway and its renovation has also begun, said spokeswoman Monica Esparza. The project, to include “enhancements designed to elevate the overall shopping experience,” is slated for completion by late summer.

“Round Rock Premium Outlets will soon welcome guests with a refreshed new look,” said Esparza. “As we commemorate this special anniversary, we look forward to celebrating with the Round Rock community, our loyal shoppers and our dedicated employees.”

Round Rock Premium Outlets opened to much excitement in 2006. It has consistently attracted shoppers from outside Central Texas, with retailers such as Coach, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren and more.

It added Cole Haan, Vera Bradley, New Balance and more in recent years while others expanded their stores.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and thank the City of Round Rock and community for growing alongside us,” Esparza said. “The ongoing excitement reflects the strong partnership we have with the City of Round Rock, as well as the loyal support of our community and shoppers.”

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
