Columbian restaurant and bakery sets down roots in Round Rock

One word, y’all. Empanadas.

Sabor Columbia Restaurant and Bakery is family-owned and recently opened its doors to a community hungry with anticipation for another delicious addition to Round Rock’s burgeoning foodie scene.

Originally launched as a food truck in Austin, Texas, the menu in Round Rock is deliciously authentic, including items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. From empanadas, to seafood and steak plates, fresh fruit, traditional Columbian deserts, pastries, and coffee, patrons won’t be lost for options.

The new brick and mortar location can be found at 1318 Round Rock Avenue across from Round Rock High School.

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
