Details emerge on new Round Rock restaurant concept PS35

If you haven’t already heard, now is the time to sit up straight, turn your head slightly to the right, and listen up, because there’s some delicious news floating around about what folks can expect to see at the I-35 location previously occupied by Westside Alehouse.

The space will soon be occupied by a new pizza restaurant, PS35. And according to recent articles in Community Impact and the Round Rock Leader, members of the SMGB Hospitality Group (which includes the likes of Hopdoddy Burger Bar owner, Larry Perdido) are behind the new concept.

New York style pizza combined with an acumen for developing deliciously popular nom-nom establishments? We’re hungry just thinking about it.

If that weren’t enough, it seems like the place is not only going to add a hip, retro vibe to Round Rock’s burgeoning foodie scene, but also fit right in with the family-friendly culture our community is already so well known for.

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
