Poke House brings Hot Cheetos covered poke burritos to Round Rock with new location

We’re ready to say aloha to another new creative culinary experience as Poke House, a purveyor of delicious Hawaiian poke bowls, salads and wraps, readies to open its newest location right here in Round Rock.

The restaurant will be located in the University Oaks Shopping Center at the intersection of I-35 and University Boulevard.

According to their website, the Poke House philospophy is “from Pole to Bowl.” They aim to “use the highest-quality and freshest sustainably sourced fish” they can find. Yummy food from a local company dedicated to being socially and environmentally responsible? Reel us in already!

Whether you’re looking for a poke-filled rice bowl, salad or wrap (aka “pokerrito”), everything is fully customizable with delicious poke protein options like ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, or spicy tuna. Add in a delicious sauce, mix-ins and top it off with something special (one of their special toppings is Hot Cheetos!).

Whatever you choose to chow down on, make sure to snap a poke pic. The food here is beautifully crafted and absolutely always Instagrammable. GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
