Ramen Tatsu-ya set to open first Round Rock location

Are you ready for Ramen in the Rock? Ramen Tatsu-ya, an Austin-based restaurant that offers authentic Japanese ramen, is making its way to Round Rock.

Although an official opening date has not been confirmed, the restaurant will be at 2132 N. Mays St., Round Rock. Cofounder Takyuka states, “We want to educate people on what ramen truly is. It’s the soul food of Japan. The process of broth-making can take an extremely long time in order to draw out the flavors from each ingredient.” The business has six locations in the Austin metroplex and the Round Rock location will be the seventh installment.

Ramen Tatsu-ya will join Tyler’s, Velvet Taco, and Amy’s Ice Cream as the newest businesses to be added to the Rock Creek Plaza retail center off IH-35.
