Rodeo Austin set to take over Round Rock’s Dell Diamond

Are you ready for a rodeo rumble, Round Rock? The Round Rock Express and Rodeo Austin are teaming up once again to bring you the heart-pounding excitement of “Bulls in the Ballpark,” presented by Lone Star Ag Credit, and it’s back for the fourth consecutive year! Get ready to witness an incredible transformation as Dell Diamond, our beloved baseball haven, turns into a rodeo arena for two unforgettable nights of bull riding.

Mark your calendars for Friday, November 10, and Saturday, November 11, because you won’t want to miss this spectacular event. And to top it all off, there will be fireworks to light up the night sky, adding an extra layer of magic to this already incredible experience.

Bulls in the Ballpark is a unique event born from a collaboration in the fall of 2020. This two-night extravaganza features some of the toughest bull riders going head to head with the rowdiest bulls in PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding. Picture this: a rodeo arena built right on top of the infield at Dell Diamond, creating an electric atmosphere that will have you on the edge of your seat. But that’s not all; each night will also include the fan favorite Mutton Bustin’, where young cowboys and cowgirls test their skills and attempt to hold on for a thrilling eight seconds!

Both nights of Bulls in the Ballpark promise 35 top-notch bull riders competing for over $35,000 in prizes. Gates open at 6 p.m. each night, and the heart-pounding action starts at 7 p.m. Rodeo Austin fans will be thrilled to know that they’ll see some familiar faces and hear familiar voices at Bulls in the Ballpark. Wayne Brooks, the award-winning announcer and long-time voice of Rodeo Austin, will be at the mic, adding his touch of excitement and expertise to the event. And let’s not forget about Justin Rumford, Rodeo Austin’s barrel man, who will bring his specialty acts to the performances, adding a touch of humor and fun to the proceedings.

Children under the age of two don’t require a ticket to enter Dell Diamond. Bring the little ones along for a memorable experience they’ll be talking about for days.
