Round Rock eateries make list of “15 Delicious Spots You Can’t Miss Along I-35”

Two local spots, Greenhouse Craft Food and Round Rock Donuts, just found themselves on a new list of the “15 Delicious Spots You Can’t Miss Along I-35” produced by Wide Open Eats.

Here’s what the article had to say about them:

Greenhouse Craft Food
1400 E. Old Settlers Blvd.

“Farm-to-table cuisine right off I-35? Yup, it’s real.

Using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, this restaurant crafts homey-yet-elevated dishes like Wagyu burgers and fried bacon dumplings with beer cheese sauce.”

Round Rock Donuts
106 W. Liberty

“Big as your face donuts are legendary. Pretty much every child in Central Texas has had one as their birthday cake at some point.

If you have made it through Round Rock without having tried one, you haven’t lived.”

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
