Cork and Barrel opens craft kitchen and microbrewery in Round Rock

The wait is finally over, y’all! Cork and Barrel Craft Kitchen and Microbrewery is officially open in Round Rock.

The restaurant, microbrewery, wine cellar, beer garden, live music venue, and Irish pub (the list goes on further but this is supposed to be a short article) is located at 4000 E. Palm Valley Boulevard near the Dell Diamond and Kalahari Resort and Convention Center.

Founder Sam Darlington, native son of Belfast, Ireland and local Texan resident for the past 30 years, envisioned Cork and Barrel as the “perfect blend of an Irish Pub experience and Central Texan cuisine.”

With the expansive outdoor areas and a delicious menu of food and drinks, we’re excited to welcome this nom nom newbie to the Round Rock foodie scene.

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
