NerdWallet recently ranked Round Rock-Austin as the best spot in the U.S. for young entrepreneurs to launch the “next hot startup.” Factors including access to funding, percentage of the local population aged 25 to 34, the local economy, and cost of living were considered when determining overall rankings.
Forbes had this to say about the Round Rock region: “Nearly one fifth of the area’s residents are aged between 25 and 34, and there are nearly $18 million in small business loans distributed among each 100,000 residents.”
