Perfect Day.Web Banner V2

Round Rock is brimming with unique spaces, local shops, amazing restaurants, historic buildings, one-of-a-kind watering holes, playable parks, public sculptures and so, so much more! And we know you, our residents, love to experience every square inch of the fun, especially during the summer. So, we’re challenging you to share your Perfect Day in Round Rock with us! Best part?

If you join in on the fun, your photos will not only be featured on our website and social channels, you’ll also be entered into a drawing to win great prizes, including a professional photography photography session for you and your family or four free passes to Rock’N river plus a cabana rental!

So how do I complete the challenge? Three simple steps:

  1. Follow @shoptherock on Instagram
  2. Post at least five photos to Instagram with #RoundRockPerfectDay that show your family at favorite Round Rock spots (local businesses, parks, pools, whatever!)
  3. Email ShopTheRock@RoundRockTexas.gov when you’ve posted your 5 images to notify us that you’ve completed the challenge and have your name entered into the prize drawing

The deadline to complete the challenge and send us an email is Monday, August 8th.

We’ll make sure to keep tabs on all of the photos tagged with #RoundRockPerfectDay throughout the challenge and share as many as we can on ShopTheRock.com and our social media channels!

Why share your Perfect Day?

Because by sharing the love of your local hometown, you’re supporting the local economy which ultimately helps you! It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut, your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Sales tax is 8.25% and 1% of it is split into reduction of City property tax and city transportation and economic development!

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO SHOP

Want better roads? How about better parks? All you have to do is Shop the Rock. Seriously, head over to the outlets and buy those shoes, or venture downtown for lunch. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping, dining or getting a haircut your dollars are helping to pay it forward and build our community. What makes this possible? Sales tax. Though it may be the least sexy tax, it is the hardest working one. So next time you see a shirt you love, buy it. Your city will thank you.
